In Memoriam…
James Paul Smith
- PADI IDC Staff Instructor
Since we first met, James became very special to both myself and my wife, Marinella, he became part of the family.
He loved scuba diving and ascended the diving career ladder very rapidly to finally reach the qualification of IDC Staff Instructor. He had actually become one of the youngest people to be qualified at this high professional level.
James was an extremely patient and professional scuba diving instructor and because of those attributes he made many people very happy by introducing them to his love of the underwater world.
I will miss, but always remember James´ smile, his good honest heart, his strength and love of life. James was a good man who was always there when he was needed.
He was one of the very few people who learned to understand our language and very soon was speaking very good Arabic. He definitely became one of the locals and was popular, well loved and respected by all.
Jamie, you are so greatly missed by all those fortunate enough to have known you.
You will be in our hearts for ever.
