PADI Dive Courses
You wish to discover scuba diving, continue your training or specialize yourself in a specific type of diving? FISH & FRIENDS diving center provides an extensive range of PADI courses from Discover Scuba Diving to the professional qualification of Divemaster.
Our courses are conducted by experienced PADI Instructors, carefully chosen for their professionalism, maturity and unique abilities as dive educators.
Unlike many dive centers all FISH & FRIENDS discovery programs and confined sessions are held in the sea ! This allows you to discover the amazing marine life of the Red Sea from the start. The bay of DAHAB offers swimming pool like conditions almost year-long and the required depth.
The PADI certification card you will receive at the end of your courses is recognized everywhere in the world.
PADI Discover Scuba Diving Program in DAHAB
Dives included: 1
Duration: half a day
Required age: 10
You always dreamed to discover what there is under the surface of the sea ? You want to try scuba diving but you don’t want or don’t have the time to do a course ? The Discover Scuba Diving progam is what you need.
After a medical check and a safety briefing you will put on your equipment, cross the street and jump into the Red Sea for an experience that you will never forget.
There are a lot of chances that you will fall in love with scuba diving, do not hesitate to ask for a second dive or go for the certification and become a PADI Scuba Diver or a PADI Open Water Diver.
PADI Bubblemaker Program in DAHAB
Dives included: 1
Duration: half a day
Required age: 8
Kids also have the right to discover scuba diving ! As a safety mesure they will have to wait 8 years old, but from this age they can join us under water.
The Bubblemaker program is made to allow them to do there first steps into the diving world, reaching a maximum depth of 2 meters (which is way enough to have fun and observer a lot of different colorful fish).
PADI Scuba Diver Course in DAHAB
Dives included: 3 (confined) 2 (open water)
Duration: 2-3 days
Required age: 10
The Scuba Diver course will allow you to get the first certification you can get with PADI.
It is a short version of the Open Water Diver Course. It includes 3 theory modules, 3 confined water training sessions and 2 open water dives.
At the end of the course you will get a certification card allowing you to dive under the supervision of a professional to a maximum depth of 12 meters. If you feel ready continue your training and get your PADI Open Water Diver certification.
PADI Open Water Diver Course in DAHAB
Dives included: 5 (confined) 4 (open water)
Duration: 3-4
Required age: 10
The Open Water Diver Course includes 5 theory modules, 5 confined water training sessions and 4 open water dives (The 2 first with a maximum depth of 12 meters and the last two with a maximum depth of 18 meters).
At the end of the course you will get a certification card allowing you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters. You want to go deeper and experience other types of diving, ask about the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course.

PADI Advanced Open Water Course in DAHAB
Dives included: 5
Duration: 3-4
Required age: 12
Continue your training with the Advance Open Water Course and discover you type of diving. It includes 5 different adventure dives and their theory modules. Two of those dives are compulsory:
– The deep dive: Push your limits and learn the safety rules to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters.
– The navigation dive: Scared to get lost while diving ? We will teach you to navigate and orientate yourself underwater.
For the 3 other adventure dives you have the choice:
– Boat dive: Learn all the procedures to follow when diving from a boat.
– Digital Underwater Imaging dive: Want to come back home with beautiful pictures of your dives ? We can teach you how to capture the unforgettable moment that you spend underwater.
– Drift dive: Bored to enter and exit by the same place ? Learn how to make a drift dive using current.
– Fish identification dive: Become a fish specialist able to differentiate the different types and families of fish. Learn everything about their behaviors and habitats.
– Night dive: Diving during the night is a completely different experience than during the day. The landscapes, the marine life, the way to dive, everything changes.
– Peak performance buoyancy dive: Your buoyancy is one of the most important aspect of scuba diving. Learn how to control it, become a better diver and have even more fun under water.
– Underwater naturalist dive: Learn more about the marine life and the different symbiosis that exist between fauna and flora.
At the end of the course you will get a certification card allowing you to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters.
A short version of this course exists, it includes 3 adventure dives and will allow you to become a PADI Adventure Diver. This version is accessible for children from 10 years old.
The adventure dives that you do during your Advanced Open Water Course can count as the first dive of PADI diving specialties.

PADI Rescue Diver and EFR (Emergency First Response) Course in DAHAB
Dives included: 2 (confined) 2 (open water)
Duration: 2-3
Required age: 12
Scuba diving is a safe sport as long as you follow the rules, but what to do if an accident happens ? Be ready to deal with emergencies with the Rescue Diver Course. Learn to rescue other divers at the surface or under water and become more confident while diving.
The EFR Course complete the Rescue Diver Course. After a rescue you may will have to deal with the victim while waiting for the Emergency Medical Services. Learn primary and secondary care skills and be able to make the difference between life and death.
PADI Specialties in DAHAB
Deep Diver Specialty
Dives included: 4
Duration: 2-3
Required age: 15
You want to push your limits and go even deeper ? Try the Deep Diver Specialty and go to a maximum depth of 40 meters. Learn how depth impacts your body and your perception under water. Of course going deeper means new rules to follow and new factors to take into consideration, we will teach you everything about it !
At the end of this specialty you will get a PADI certification card allowing you to dive to a maximum depth of 40 meters.
Enriched Air Diver Specialty
Dives included: 2
Duration: 1-2
Required age: 12
The is one of the most famous PADI specialties. You will learn how to dive with an increased percentage of oxygen in your tank air supply. What are the benefits ? You will decrease the Nitrogen amount in your body. That means that you extend your bottom time, allowing you to stay longer at depth while staying within safe limits. Enriched Air is the best choice for repetitive dives during your holidays.
At the end of this specialty you will get a PADI certification card allowing you to dive with Enriched Air (Nitrox).

PADI Divemaster course in DAHAB
Dives included: A lot
Duration: 5 weeks
Required age: 18
The divemaster is the first PADI professional level and maybe the beginning of a new life for you. During your training we will teach you all the skills that you need to know to be able to guide and supervise certified divers under water.
At the end of this course you will get a PADI professional card which will allow you to work as a dive professional.
Scuba Review in DAHAB
If you haven’t dived recently it can be a good idea to review all the basic skills. We will go through some dive theory, remind you of the pre-dive checks and underwater hand signals. Then we will jump into the water and go through all the basic skills that you have already learned.
